Sakura Japanese Restaurant
Sakura Japanese Restaurant is located on the second
floor of the hotel. This renowned Japanese eatery is
among the most traditional and famous Japanese restaurants
in whole Beijing! Sakura goes beyond boasting delicious,
authentic Japanese cuisine by providing a feast for
all our guests’ senses. Japanese nationally recognized
chefs serve up various Japanese dishes in a quiet and
elegant atmosphere. The dishes selection includes but
not limits to teppanyaki grill, sushi, sashimi, Japanese
hot-pot, and tempura. In addition, Sakura offers the
business lunch combination with a menu which changes
everyday, and introduces the dish of the day or the
dish of the week to enrich our guests’ dining
experiences.
Sakura has the maximum capacity of 156 guests and has
6 private rooms--- 2 in Japanese style and 4 in western
style. The Japanese style private rooms are among the
best in Beijing with tatami. These traditional rooms
bring Japan to life by epitomizing its elegance and

Hiruma Kenichi
Hiruma Kenichi began to work in “SENBAZURU”
Restaurant of Tokyo New Otani Hotel in Japan in 1993.
With excellent gastronomy, he was in charge of many
VIP dinners during his term. The exquisite mouth feel
and the fancy shape of his Japanese cuisine have shown
his excellent gastronomy to guests from home and abroad
who enjoyed it both gustatorily and visually. He won
the champion of the 2003 Japanese cuisine contest and
got rewarded by the Japanese Labor Department.
As the representative of the chef of young generation,
Hiruma Kenichi has been presenting since March 2006
and will continue to present you the world of cate of
Hiruma Kenichi style in Sakura restaurant of Hotel New
Otani Chang Fu Gong.
